BIO

Carolyn M. Bonifield is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business.

She studies and teaches Consumer Behavior, Marketing Communications, Services Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Management. She received her PhD from the University of Iowa, MBA from Michigan State University, and BA from Ohio University.

Her work has been published in journals including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Brand Management, Journal of Services Marketing, and Marketing Letters, among others. Dr. Bonifield serves on the Editorial Board of The Service Industries Journal. She is a member of the Digital Marketing Institute and is certified in digital marketing through both DMI and HubSpot. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she was a product manager for Unilever and launched a business, which she later sold.
