BIO

Katie Bailey is a biological anthropologist and primatologist. She graduated with her Ph.D. and M.A. in anthropology from Texas A&M University and BA from The Ohio State University. She studies the locomotion of the red-shanked douc langur (Pygathrix nemaeus), which is a Critically Endangered monkey from Southeast Asia. Prior to coming to UVM Katie worked as a forensic palynologist for US Customs and Border Protection.
